I know what you’re thinking, “What the hell is a drop?” Right? (If you already know skip this section.) A drop is a line, quote or name that an artist mentions in a song or in an ad for a person or company. Like when you’re listening to Hot 97 and Jay-z says, “Your listening to the number one station for Hip-Hop and R&B, Hot 97.” <--- That's a drop.
