This week I realized that I’m at a point where I have everything I need to move forward in music and life. I have a lot of processes in motion that A) keeps me busy and B) allows me to stay focused doing what I do. This website itself is one of those processes.

Yes, today is Valentines Day and I shall share this day with my love… music. I’m actually preparing to go on a hiatus pretty soon to focus solely on creating good music. It will just be me and her. The details of my hiatus are top secret and me even mentioning it may be a breach of the confidential agreement I made with myself, but I’m so excited I can’t help it. Treading water… from the outside looking in, it looks simple, almost like the guy isn’t doing anything at all. But he knows how hard he’s working. Eventually it doesn’t feel like work any more, it becomes natural. I wouldn’t say I’m quite there yet, but I am getting into a rhythm. Every day I’m coming up with new ideas for my music and every day I’m overcoming the challenges.

So I started a new posting schedule a couple of weeks ago and I got to say it’s been getting more easy every week to keep it up. The ideas flow like nothing and I’ve been able to write on my way to and from work. While I’m doing that I’m also working on new music. I’m putting this nice package together that you all will appreciate. I also have a top secret project that I’m working on… It’s going to be well documented so when I’m done you will be filled in. When I was younger, I used to run with my head down. While playing football, as I would run, I’d keep an eye on the ground to see the shadows of an opponent before they can catch up to me. I wasn’t always the fastest so doing this allowed me time to maneuver in ways to escape a tackle. Now that I’m older I feel that I am still running with my head down but now there’s no apparent benefit.
