Weekly Recap – Treading Water
Treading water… from the outside looking in, it looks simple, almost like the guy isn’t doing anything at all. But he knows how hard he’s working. Eventually it doesn’t feel like work any more, it becomes natural. I wouldn’t say I’m quite there yet, but I am getting into a rhythm. Every day I’m coming up with new ideas for my music and every day I’m overcoming the challenges.
This week I started working on my a track “Train Ride” for an up coming mixtape. I don’t want to give too much away but it’s kinda crazy (as in psycho). I’m also producing the track, so the lyrics are tailor fitted to the beat, when you hear it, you’ll see what I mean. Look out for the next episode of the Making of a Man Listening Session. It should be sometime this week.

I’ve been rhyming since I was 11
and will continue to rhyme until I die. My music is music for the mind, music for the heart, and music for the soul. It’s music for me. It’s therapy, it’s self realization, it’s being able to step outside ...
