My name is Reynald. When I was a young boy they would call me Rey. I hated the name Rey; like it was just a stupid little gay name to call someone. So I told them don’t call me Rey. My friends in high school used to call me ‘Nald, I let them. I don’t know why I thought Nald was so much better than Rey. ‘Nald doesn’t even make sense. My homeboy I went to high school with still calls me ‘Nald from time to time. Now everyone calls me Rey and I can’t stand ‘Nald. I could never win.
