The Interview (part 2)

January 10th, 2008 · 4 Comments

Before the long day of interviewing began, a partner of the company gave speech to all of the potential employees. As he began his speech in a self righteous “know it all” tone I began to drift off. Not that I don’t like listening to people talk about shit I could care less about… wait I don’t like that shit. So I drifted away into a day dream. [Read more →]

22 Qoutes for the New Year

January 1st, 2008 · 6 Comments

Quotes are cool because they make you seem like you know a lot. I also try to live by them and use them in my every day life. These are some of my favorite.

1. Forgiveness

To err is human, to forgive divine.
-Alexander Pope

2. I hate being disappointed so I don’t expect nothing from anyone.

Blessed is he who expects nothing, for he shall never be disappointed.
-Alexander Pope

3. No one can be 100% certain of anything so we all can be right and wrong at the same time.

True knowledge exists in knowing that you know nothing.

The Origin of Christmas

December 25th, 2007 · 4 Comments

I just read something that fucked up my Christmas and maybe my entire religious base. Today I had breakfast with one of my friends and a thought came into my mind. “I wonder when the first Christmas was celebrated.” Me being the conspiracy theorist that I am, imagined a corporate plot to sell me and you crap that we don’t need. I later found out that the elaborate story that I created this afternoon (I eat breakfast late) was completely false… sort of. I Googled “origin of Christmas” and the first link that appeared was an article titled “The Real Story of Christmas“. Here are some of the points that were made… [Read more →]

Beauty is NOT in the Eye of the Beholder and NOT Skin Deep (part 2)

December 24th, 2007 · 5 Comments

In the book, “Why Beautiful People Have More Daughters” the authors talk about the characteristics that make a person beautiful. What they found was that facial beauty is a matter of how much the left side of your face is symmetrical to the right side (bilateral symmetry). People without symmetrical facial features are ugly (sorry it’s the truth). The main argument against this theory is that our social up bringing decides what we find beautiful and ugly. But a study with 1 week old babies showed that when the babies were presented with two pictures (an ugly person and a beautiful person) the baby gazed at the beautiful person longer. Which is empirical evidence that proves some people are born universally unattractive and universally beautiful.

Beauty is NOT in the Eye of the Beholder and NOT Skin Deep (part 1)

December 18th, 2007 · 3 Comments

Forget what you’ve heard, beauty is not skin deep. There are specific criteria as to what defines beauty and it is universal for all human beings. After reading “Why Beautiful People Have More Daughters” it confirmed what I already knew. All men are sexually attracted to women with long hair, big tits, slim wastes and thick hips. This doesn’t mean that if you don’t have those characteristics a man won’t be sexually attracted to you, this means that they would DEFINITELY be attracted to you if you did.

Unremorseful Selfishness

December 15th, 2007 · No Comments

I would like to take this time out to think about ME and only ME and I don’t care who knows it. We all kid ourself when we say, “I’m doing this all for you” because in reality we do nothing ALL for anyone else but ourselves. I usually reserve these moments for special occasions such as birthdays, but why be openly selfish one day out of the year when they’re 364 other days.

Take it for what it’s worth. I love me and I will not sacrifice my well being for the happiness of others UNLESS the result of their happiness will make me happy as well INSTEAD of being detrimental to my health AND I’m not sorry.

With all that said…

I me I me I I I me me me me me I I… I.
