Working to Gain Knowledge Instead of Money

June 23rd, 2008 · 3 Comments

child executiveIf you work for money, you’ll be working for the rest of your life. I don’t want to work for the rest of my life. I don’t want to work five years from now. So when I go to work I try to focus on learning the business, sharpening my skills, and paying attention. The last thing I think about is the dollars that I’m being paid because I know I could make money anywhere doing a numerous amount of things. So I make sure I get more than money out of my job when I leave there every day.

Oh, before I forget, please comment. I'd like to know your thoughts.

I’m happy you wrote this topic. It is true though because money is going to come eventually. It’s all about patience

I believe as long as you work hard at whatever it is that you want to do, money is a guaranteed consequence. You just shouldn’t approach it with money in mind because it cans serve as a distraction.
